The Motley Hotel Richmond, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

“We enjoyed our stay here. The hotels situated a bit outside the CBD but as we had a car it wasn't a problem for us. As a diamond member we received an upgrade to a gorgeous suite. This was furnished in a modern, quirky way, which really suited the hotels overall design. There were numerous bars, pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk, which was just as well as the night we were there the hotels restaurant wasn't open. The underground car parking has a very limited number of spaces and some of them are a nightmare to get into! (There's a public car park nearby but I seem to recall there was limited times available there?) The only disappointment here was the breakfast allocated to diamond members. In our terms we get a free continental breakfast but here they just give you a voucher for A$20 towards breakfast that barely gets you a coffee and some toast. It certainly doesn't meet the requirement of providing a continental breakfast. Aside from this everything was great and we would certainly consider staying here again.”

“A really sleek and modern hotel with an artsy twist, which suits its great location on Bridge Road. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfortable. The only issue we had was with the climate control - the A/C unit kept making these weird clicking noises which kept me up until I decided to turn it off, after which it stopped. Atmosphere is nice and quiet and there's a great little bar / cafe attached. Highly recommended.”

“We stayed at The Motley after a recommendation from a friend and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is conveniently located, with a tram stop right at the front entrance. Although the hotel is small, it is very pretty, and the room felt fresh and modern. The service provided by Anastasia at the front desk was extremely helpful—she was wonderful to deal with. “The Motley Hotel, Tapestry Collection is a fun vibrant hotel in a great location. Recently staying in room 309 the hotel offers a great mix of local eateries with simple access to sporting events and central city. Anastasia, with support from a well ran staff team took care of everything needed. Enjoy sleeping in when you need it and enjoy breakfast at the hotel, making life simple and the options are delicious!
